William Roberts Woy
Obituary
William Roberts Woy “Bill”, age 76 of Cincinnati, OH and formerly of Keyser, WV died on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. He was born in Keyser, WV on June 10, 1944 and was the son of the late William L. Woy and Anna E. Roberts.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna (Clark) Woy and his son, William (Billy) Woy and Jami and his daughter, Nicole Plichta and Michael. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Colin, Madison, Will, Katelyn, Parker and Asher; and his extended family, Davey, Amy, Piper and Harlynn Couch; and cherished brother-in-law, Patrick and Marion Clark and Christine and Troy Clark.
Bill served his country in the US Army and National Guard for 20 years. He was a Mason for 52 years. He retired from Viox Services after 15 years of dedicated work. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting with his son and friends.
A visitation and service was held in Harrison, OH on April 18, 2021. A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, WV from 10 AM until Noon followed by inurnment at Philos Cemetery in Westernport, MD. Please remember social distancing and mask are still required for social gatherings.
It was Bill’s wish that Memorial donation be direct to the Saint Jude Childrens Hospital in Memphis, TN.
