Ronald (Ronnie) Washington Jackson

Ronald (Ronnie) Washington Jackson 79, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2021, at Moran Manor Nursing Home in Westernport, MD, after a three-year battle with congestive heart failure. He was born in Frostburg, MD on June 13, 1942 and was the son of the late Raymond A Jackson, Jr. and Geraldine Jackson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A (Twyman) Jackson and his in-laws: Clarence and Dorothy Twyman.

Ronnie graduated from Beall High School in Frostburg, MD and retired from Westvaco in Luke, MD. Ronnie was a member of the First Church of God in Christ in Piedmont, WV.

Ronnie was a proud participant of the special Olympics and his medals. He was honored by the Piedmont Police for his dedicated service in traffic control for special events.

Surviving are his children: Elizabeth Jackson and Ronald W. Jackson. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: his maternal twin, Donald W. Jackson and wife Dawn, of Frostburg, MD. Norman (Arnett) Jackson and wife Bonnie, of Frostburg, MD. Lance Jackson and wife Carmen of Frostburg, MD. Glenn Jackson and wife Marie of Cumberland, MD. He is also survived by his sisters: Janet (JJ) Jackson of Frostburg, MD and Anita L. Peck and husband Robert T. Peck of Cumberland, MD. Also Surviving are his nieces and nephews:  Krissy and Kayla Jackson, Travis Jackson, Dwayne and Regina Jackson, Raymond and Vyktorya Jackson, Mavin Johnson, Amanda Taylor, Nehemiah and Nariah James, Clory and Mouhamadou Diaman and their daughter Sofie, Lance Jackson Jr. and Harlan and Carter Jackson.

Family and friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, WV: on Saturday September 11, 2021 from 12 to 1 P.M. Services will immediately follow at 1 P.M. with Rev. Henderson Wheeler Jr officiating.  Interment will be held at Potomac Memorial Gardens in Keyser, WV.

In lieu of flowers the family request that Memorials for Ronnie be directed to the Fredlock Funeral Home (PO Box 4) Piedmont, WV. 26750 to assist with his funeral expenses.
