Betty Glass

Betty L. Glass  90  of Bel-Air Drive, Cresaptown, MD  passed away at UPMC-Western Maryland on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021. She was  born in Keyser, WV on  February  9, 1930 and was the daughter of the late James Jones and Evelyn (Doman) Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Glass.

Betty was Lutheran by faith. She worked as an RN at Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home in Oakland for many years and retired from HRDC in Cumberland, MD with 20 years of service.

Betty is survived by her son James Glass and wife Cindy of Westernport, MD and her daughter, Karin Hansson and husband Dale of Bradenton, FL.  She is also survived by her two grandsons, Seth Glass and wife Carrie, and Josh Glass and wife  Natalie; her great- grandchildren , Lucy , Julia and Quinn Glass, Brayden, Brycen and Braxton Glass. Her sister-in law, Mary G. Fuller of Keyser, WV.

A private service was held at the Fredlock Funeral Home  in Piedmont, WV on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Sally Bartling officiating.  Interment was at Saint Paul’s Lutheran cemetery in Accident, MD.
