Selenna Bowman

April 19, 1971 — April 30, 2023

Keyser

In loving memory of Selenna Lynn Bowman, 52, of Keyser, and formerly of Piedmont, who died on April 30, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown WV. Born on April 19, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Phyllis and Michael Bowman.

Selenna was a strong, loving, caring woman that would give you the shirt off her back. Her children and her grandchildren loved her deeply, and they wouldn't trade her for the world. Selenna put everyone else's needs before her own. She was a true WVU Mountaineer fan through and through. Selenna was also a huge and dedicated fan of Q94.1 (a local radio station). She was always giving birthday shoutouts and always trying to win a prize. She was such a dedicated fan that eventually they started to give Selenna a shoutout every now and again. Selenna loved to have a good time and be surrounded by her family and friends. Selenna loved to dance, even without music; she was an amazing person.

Selenna is survived by her five children, Damon Bowman of Piedmont, Derek and his wife Ashley Bowman of Westernport, MD, Cierra Dell and her significant other Michael Evans of Keyser, Michael Bowman of Keyser, and Keith Bowman of Keyser; six grandchildren, Noah Bowman and Liam Pritts of Keyser, Kenize Bowman of Westernport, Justin, Jackson and Laci Evans of Keyser; her brother, Russell Bowman of Piedmont, James and his wife Melissa Washington of Cumberland, Donna and her husband Clay Sprouse of Keyser, and Belinda Redman of Piedmont; many nieces and nephews, Alisha, Trisha and Summer Bowman all from Piedmont, Travis Wilcox of Piedmont, Sierra Taylor of Keyser, Mariah Malcolm of Keyser, Trinity and Nathaniel Washington of Cumberland, Noah Sprouse of Keyser, Vincent Bowman of Keyser, and Destiny Howard of Keyser; and her partner "n" crime, Jay Wilt, of Westernport.

In addition to her parents, Selenna was preceded in death by her other father, Donny Washington, and her brother, Vincent.

Friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home, 31 Jones St., Piedmont on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 1 to 3 PM. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Donations can be made to Selenna's Gofundme account, or to her children.
