Richard Asbury

Richard Dean Asbury, 80 went to his heavenly home on February 19, 2018 at Keyser, WV. He was born in Raysel, WV on January 8, 1938 and was son of the late Frances Laura Asbury.

He was a former member of the Canebrake Free Will Baptist Church. He was a self employed roofing contractor for many years. He was an avid follower of the Atlanta Braves Baseball team.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie (Morris) Asbury of Keyser, WV and his sons ;Richard D. Asbury III of Farmington UT and Scott R. Asbury and wife Shianne of Southport, NC; his daughter Laura F. Asbury of Myrtle Beach, SC and grandchildren, Scott R. Asbury II of Southport, NC; Erica N. Asbury and fiancée Joe Tegerides of Keyser, WV and Colin Dean Asbury of Keyser. His sister-in-law, Cynthia Asbury and several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends at the Canebrake Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 from 10 AM until 1 PM. Services will be held at the church at 1PM. with Rev.Rodney Cox officiating. Interment will follow at the Bandy Cemetery.

The Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, WV is assisting the family with arrangements.
